James Kwie

Mr James Kwie has been the Portfolio Manager at Straits Developments Private Limited (“Straits Developments”) since January 2015. His responsibilities include investment evaluation, strategy development, transaction management, monitoring of portfolio and investee companies for Straits Trading. He also supports the investor relations function of the Group.

Before joining Straits Developments, he held management roles with Ascendas Funds Management, the Manager of Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust (“AREIT”). He was also Vice President of a boutique private equity firm.

Mr Kwie graduated with Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
