Peter Livingston

Peter Livingston has extensive work experience spanning several industries. Peter currently serves as the Director of Accounting at Stran Technologies since January 2022. Prior to this, Peter worked as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense Specialist in the Army National Guard from June 2017 to June 2023.

Before their current role, Peter worked as an Accounting Consultant at CTG from October 2020 to November 2021. During this time, they reviewed and approved weekly check runs, performed bank and credit card statement reconciliations, and managed payroll for over 100 employees.

Peter also worked as an Accounting Administrator at Jarvis Property Restoration, a BMS CAT company, from May 2019 to October 2020. Peter gained experience in accounts payable as an Accounts Payable Clerk at the University of Detroit Mercy from November 2018 to May 2019. In this role, they entered invoices into the Banner Finance System, ensured timely vendor payments, and handled purchase orders and interdepartmental reimbursements/check requests.

Earlier in their career, Peter served as a General Manager at Planet Fitness World Headquarters from October 2014 to July 2016. Overall, Peter has demonstrated expertise in accounting, finance, payroll management, and leadership roles throughout their work experience.

Peter Livingston completed their associate's degree in Accounting at Macomb Community College from 2018 to 2019. Peter then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance at Walsh College from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their education, Peter obtained various certifications from the United States Department of Defense in Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Operations, and Mass Casualty Decontamination in February 2018. Peter also obtained an FAA License - Part 107 from the Federal Aviation Administration in February 2023, which is a certification for operating drones.
