Dahyana Arias Escayola

Dahyana Arias Escayola is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in RNA biology and program management, currently serving as Manager of Program Management and Senior Scientist of RNA Discovery Biology at Strand Therapeutics since March 2022. Prior to this, Dahyana was a PhD Candidate at Yale University from September 2015 to March 2022, conducting research on nuclear bodies and their role in RNA processing under the guidance of advisor Karla Neugebauer. Dahyana also contributed to scientific education as part of the Scientific Teaching Fellows Program and held research and tutoring positions at Mount Saint Mary's University and as an independent tutor. Dahyana completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University in 2020 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Mount St. Mary's University.
