Richard Blevins has had over 20 years of work experience with a strong background in software consulting for the education industry. Their most recent role has been as Senior Consultant with Strata Information Group, starting in 2011. Prior to this, they worked as Principal Functional Consultant - Business Intelligence for SunGard Higher Education, which they had joined in 2008. Richard also worked as Director of Computer Services at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts from 2006 to 2008. Before that, they were a Sys. Consultant/Dir. of Admin. Computing for SunGard Higher Education from 2004 to 2006. Blevins started their career in the education industry working as a Programmer/Analyst for Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in 1999, where they gained proficiency in the Banner finance module and database administration in HP-UX and Oracle. Richard Blevins obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Mississippi State University in 1989 and then went on to pursue a Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law from 1989 to 1992. Richard later earned their Master of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of South Alabama during the period of 1995 to 1997. In addition to these degrees, they also hold a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Mississippi State University, obtained in 1986. Richard also obtained a certification in "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera Verified Certificates in November 2014.
