Steve Swatzell

Steve Swatzell has extensive experience in information technology consulting with a focus on Ellucian Banner product, related software, and architecture. Steve has worked with numerous higher education institutions over the years in roles involving Banner implementations, AWS cloud migrations, system administration, security assessments, and general IT consulting. Steve is a certified AWS Solutions Architect (Associate), CISSP security professional, and Oracle OCP database administrator. Before joining Strata Information Group, they worked as a Remote Database Administrator for ACS and SCT, respectively.

Steve Swatzell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Studies, from Northern Arizona University between 1986 and 1991. In 2011, they obtained a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². In 2020, they received an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
