Jennifer Chiou

Jennifer Chiou has been working in the software engineering and bioinformatics programming fields since 2013. Jennifer began their career as an Undergraduate Researcher, Research Assistant, and Researcher at the University of California San Diego from 2013-2017. In 2017, they moved to the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center as a Bioinformatics Programmer. From 2018-2021, Jennifer worked as a Software Engineer at Q2 Solutions. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Strata Oncology.

Jennifer Chiou attended Lynbrook High School from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Jennifer then went on to UC San Diego from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Bioengineering: Bioinformatics. In addition, Jennifer has obtained various certifications, including a 2022-2023-Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act: Covered Entities V2.2 from Traliant in November 2022, Time Management: Working from Home and Working Remotely from LinkedIn in March 2020, Git Essential Training and Learning Git and GitHub from Lynda.com in November 2018, Python Essential Training from Lynda.com in November 2018, and Google Analytics for Beginners from Google Analytics Academy in September 2017.
