Kirren Covey

Kirren Covey is a software engineer at Stratasan. Kirren previously worked as an application developer at Paradigm Environmental from July 2019 to January 2020. Prior to that, they were a full stack software developer at Nashville Software School from December 2018 to June 2019.

Covey has experience with a variety of programming languages and tools, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, and C#/.NET. Kirren is skilled in source code version control with Git/GitHub, project management/tracking with Github Projects & Issue Tracking, and task automation with Grunt.

In their previous role as a full stack software developer, Kirren Covey was responsible for developing browser-based single page applications using React, HTML, and CSS. Kirren also styled applications with CSS Frameworks and wrote custom styles as needed. In addition, they used C#/ASP.Net to develop a full-stack MVC web application with a RESTful API that enables users CRUD functionality for resources in a SQL database.

Covey is experienced in Agile project management, including ticketing, testing, daily stand-ups, pair-programming, and team retrospectives.

Kirren Covey's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Central Washington University and a Full Stack Software Development Certification from Nashville Software School.

They are on a team with David Williams - Data Engineer, Colby Dehart - Software Engineer, and Lissa Goforth - Software Engineer. Kirren Covey reports to Barry Archer, VP, Engineering.
