Michelle Brownlee is currently a software engineer at Stratasan. Prior to that, they worked as a software developer at The Ōnin Group from December 2020 to June 2021. There, they completed an intensive full-time 6-month software development bootcamp learning with both individual and team-based projects. The program went fully remote several weeks before their cohort, meaning they became well versed in completing both individual and team assignments using remote techniques. Single page applications were built using SCRUM methodology and version control with Git and GitHub. Technologies they used include: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, and Python/Django.
Prior to their work in software development, Michelle was a mental health-juvenile justice liaison at Allegheny County Department of Human Services from January 2004 to December 2007.
Michelle Brownlee has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & Political Science from Ohio University and a Master's Program in Counseling and Human Development from Walsh University. Michelle also has certification from LinkedIn in Design Aesthetics for the Web.
