Erin Childs

Erin Childs is a Senior Manager at Strategen, a position they have held since October 2019. Prior to this, Erin worked as a Strategic Planning Adviser at Southern California Edison (SCE) from July 2012 to October 2019. In this role, Erin was responsible for developing and implementing the company's position on strategic issues with executive leadership and business lines.

Erin has extensive experience in strategy development and implementation, as well as digital transformation. Erin has led engagements with executive leadership to chart and communicate company strategy, scoped and developed company-wide initiatives, and managed portfolios of projects to address changes in strategy. Erin has also coordinated teams of consultants, technical experts, and leadership to define vision, establish sustainable operating models, and stand up new agile technology teams.

In addition to their work in strategy and digital transformation, Erin has also been responsible for developing the company's position on procurement and energy market role through growth of community choice aggregation in CA. Erin has assessed procurement models, led discussions with executive leadership team, and supported policy and advocacy implementation of preferred approaches.

Erin Childs went to Los Altos High School and then to Pomona College where they got their Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Environmental Analysis.
