Dr. Kevin White, DIA

Dr. Kevin White has a diverse work experience in various roles related to information security, cybersecurity, and academia. Dr. Kevin is currently working as a Security Solutions Architect at Strategic Business Systems (SBS) since 2023. Before that, they served as the CEO of Raptor Solutions, LLC, where they led the information security function and provided consultation to DoD contractors in the IT and Acquisition domains since 2015.

Dr. White also has experience in academia, holding positions at Cumberland University and Collin College. At Cumberland University, they worked as a Professor in Computer and Information Sciences, teaching courses on Information Security/Cybersecurity at the master's level since 2019. Similarly, at Collin College, they worked as a Cybersecurity Professor, conducting research, advising students, and delivering instruction both online and face-to-face since 2022.

In addition, Dr. White has worked as an Adjunct Professor of Information Assurance at the University of Fairfax since 2020. At SBS, they served as a Principal Solutions Consultant and a Sr. Netbackup Consultant (Lead) from 2013 to 2020, specializing in data management, disaster recovery, and performance optimization. In the role of a Lead IT Network/Sysadmin at the United States Department of Defense, they performed system monitoring, analysis, and patch management from 2012 to 2013. Dr. Kevin also worked as an IT Network/Sysadmin at the United States Air Force from 2012 to 2012, focusing on security compliance and server remediation.

Furthermore, Dr. White has contributed to academia as a Cyber Adjunct Instructor at the University of Maryland University College from 2014 to 2017. During this time, they facilitated class instruction, evaluated student performance, and created a conducive learning environment.
