Gerry M.

Gerry M. is an experienced asset manager with a strong background in real estate finance and management. Currently serving as an Asset Manager at Strategic Group since May 2022, Gerry previously held the position of Financial Analyst at Cushman & Wakefield, supporting the investment team in real estate underwriting. From 2017 to 2020, Gerry managed 125 lifestyle and manufactured housing communities at Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities, focusing on best practices in marketing and operations. As President of the Mortgage Loans Association of Alberta from 2013 to 2017, Gerry led a board of commercial mortgage professionals. Additional experience includes roles at Standard Life as an Account Manager for commercial mortgages, and at Sun Life as an Asset Manager overseeing various financial and operational aspects. Gerry also worked as a Financial & Project Analyst at First Capital Realty, managing real estate analysis and due diligence for significant property acquisitions. Gerry earned a BComm in Business - Real Estate from The University of British Columbia and holds a BA in Geography - Urban Planning along with a degree in Urban Planning from the University of Alberta.
