Samm Gillard

Samm Gillard has extensive experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Signals Intelligence Analyst in the US Army until 2009, where they conducted intelligence analysis, authored reports, managed teams, and provided training. In 2013, they became a Patent Examiner at USPTO before transitioning to a Materials Engineer at Alion Science and Technology in 2015. In 2016, they joined the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) as a Technology Development Manager focusing on Battery R&D. Their most recent position is as the Vice President at Strategic Marketing Innovations, Inc. (SMI) starting in 2023.

From 2011 to 2014, Samm Gillard attended the University of Maryland and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Materials Science and Engineering.
