Daviorr Snipes

Daviorr Snipes has a diverse work experience in the arts and education sector. Daviorr started their career in 2002 at TheatreWorks USA as a Theater Performer and Assistant Stage Manager until 2009. In 2010, they transitioned to Marriott as a Guest Services Manager until 2013. Daviorr then joined Teach For America in 2013 as a teacher before moving to Oglethorpe University in 2014. At Oglethorpe, they worked with Georgia Shakespeare until September 2014 when they started at Alliance Theatre. At Alliance Theatre, they served as a Group Service Manager until June 2020 when they became the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion until April 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Stratford Festival since April 2022.

Daviorr Snipes completed an Associate of Arts degree in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts at Gordon State College. Daviorr then went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre/Theater from New York University.
