Gerard Martin

Gerard Martin is an experienced mechanical professional with a strong background in welding and foreman roles. Currently serving as the Mechanical Lead at Strathcona Resources Ltd. since May 2024, Gerard has previously held positions including General Foreman at CEDA International and a General Foreman at Strike Group. Gerard's extensive welding experience includes working as a "B" pressure and CWB certified welder at Gerard Martin Welding from February 2000 to May 2024. Additional experience includes a foreman role at CEDA International and an apprenticeship at A Amyotte & Sons Welding. Educational qualifications include a Red Seal Journeyman Welder and B Pressure certification from Lakeland College and a Red Seal Steamfitter Pipefitter certificate from Alberta Apprenticeship, complemented by a high school diploma from Mallaig High School.
