Prof. Izael da Silva

Prof. Izael Da Silva serves as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation and previously for Academics and Student Affairs at Strathmore University, where the focus is on fostering research and supporting academic matters. In addition to a faculty role at Strathmore Business School, where Prof. Izael Da Silva lectures on Business Ethics, experience includes directing the Strathmore Energy Research Centre. Prior academic positions at Makerere University and the Centre for Research in Energy and Energy Conservation highlight a commitment to renewable energy initiatives. Prof. Izael Da Silva holds a PhD in Power Systems from the Universidade de São Paulo, complemented by a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
