Emanuel Teixeira has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and software testing. Emanuel is currently working as a Lead QA Engineer at Stratio, where they lead the Quality department and implements quality principles and vision across teams. Emanuel'sresponsibilities include defining the Quality Strategy, planning the yearly roadmap, hiring, organizing quality processes, promoting a quality initiative within teams, and implementing testing methodologies. Emanuel is also proficient in various software development skills and tools such as software design patterns, CI/CD, DevOps, agile methodologies, and coding standards.

Prior to their current role, Emanuel worked as a Senior QA Automation Engineer at CC Media Network and as a QA Architect and Senior QA Engineer at DefinedCrowd. In these positions, they were involved in developing automation tests, implementing CD/CI processes, coding with best practices, and defining test strategies. Emanuel also had responsibilities in mentoring teams, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting backend services, and participating in the hiring process.

Before joining DefinedCrowd, Emanuel worked at Hitachi Vantara as a Senior QA Engineer and later as a QA Manager. Emanuel was part of a Tiger Team that implemented CI/CD processes and quality standards. As a QA Manager, Emanuel managed a team of 16 people and was responsible for QA projects, process improvement, planning releases, and mentoring/coaching.

Earlier in their career, Emanuel held positions as a Test Manager and Technical Lead at Link Consulting, where they led software testing projects, coordinated team members, and reported quality metrics. Emanuel also worked as a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer at Oi and ZON Multimédia, where they tested applications and services in the telecom industry and gained experience in OTT services, STB middleware, and widgets.

Emanuel's work experience also includes a role as a Software Engineer Technical Lead at Critical Software, where they worked on the GALILEO FDF project and developed software in various programming languages and protocols. Emanuel started their career as a Junior Researcher at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon, where they evaluated and studied static analysis tools for C/C++ code. Additionally, Emanuel worked as a Software Developer at Siemens, where they contributed to the development of Home Entertainment Solutions.

Throughout their career, Emanuel has demonstrated expertise in software testing, automation, agile methodologies, coding standards, and various software development tools and languages. Emanuel possesses strong leadership, mentoring, and project management skills.

From 2002 to 2006, Emanuel attended Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, where they obtained a graduate degree in Engineering in Computer Science.

In 2006 and 2007, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Science at Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa.

In 2011 and 2012, Emanuel attended ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management for a postgraduate degree in Management and Business Consulting.
