Adam B. Peters

Adam B. Peters, PhD, has extensive experience in the field of materials and structures for hypersonic vehicle development. Adam B. has held roles such as Principal, Advanced Programs at Stratolaunch, where they focused on thermal protection systems testing and Lead Hypersonics Thermal Protection Systems Engineer. Additionally, they co-founded Synteris LLC and acted as Founder and Chief Technology Officer, developing innovative additive manufacturing technology. Adam B.'sbackground includes work as a Doctoral Research Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where they earned consecutive funding for additive manufacturing projects. Peters has also worked as a Visiting Faculty Scientist at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering and served as a Venture Partner at Early Charm.

Adam B. Peters earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Physics from UC Santa Barbara. Adam B. then went on to receive a Master of Engineering in Materials Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and Engineering from the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Excel/VBA for Creative Problem Solving from Coursera in 2022.
