Bailey Crane is a graduate researcher at the Strauss Center for International Security and Law, focusing on research related to Chinese surveillance technology exports and their implications for human rights. Additionally, Bailey serves as a research intern for the Renewing American Innovation Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Previously, significant experience includes roles as an archival researcher and producer for various film and documentary projects, notably in collection and management of archival materials related to Louisiana culture and Texas blues musicians, as well as conducting open-source research for the organization We Are Amy's Army. Bailey holds a Master of Global Policy Studies from The LBJ School of Public Affairs and has pursued an MS in Information Security and Privacy alongside a Bachelor's degree in Radio, Television, and Film from The University of Texas at Austin.
