James Thompson

James Thompson has an extensive work experience spanning over 15 years. James currently holds the position of Director of Product Management at Streamlit, a role they assumed in October 2020. Prior to this, James served as the Chief Executive Officer at Clean Streets from June 2020.

Before joining Streamlit and Clean Streets, James held a role as a Senior Product Manager at Facebook from May 2018 to April 2020. James also worked at Palantir Technologies, where they served as a Product Manager from March 2014 to November 2017. Additionally, they held roles as a Product Design Manager from May 2013 to March 2014 and as a Product Designer from October 2012 to May 2013 at Palantir Technologies.

Furthermore, James was the CEO and Co-Founder of Fresh Cookies LLC, a StartX company, where they spearheaded the development of a gaming platform called Eggaduppa. Additionally, they gained experience as a Design Engineer Intern at Luidia Inc. from June 2009 to May 2010.

James' career began with positions at UVA Aerospace Research Laboratory as a Research Assistant from September 2006 to May 2008, and Northrop Grumman as an Engineer Intern from May 2007 to August 2007. James also worked as an Engineer Intern at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from June 2005 to August 2005.

James Thompson completed their education in a chronological order. James started their educational journey at Shepherd University in 2003 and obtained an Associate Degree in Engineering in 2005. After that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia, which they completed between 2005 and 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, James advanced their education further by enrolling in Stanford University in 2008, where they pursued a Master's Degree in Product Design, which they successfully obtained in 2011.
