Karen Javadyan has a diverse work experience in various roles in the software engineering field. Karen is currently working as a Software Engineer at Streamlit since April 2021. Prior to that, they were an Education Mentor at Practicum by Yandex starting from February 2020. From October 2019 to September 2020, they served as the Python Practice Head (Lead Software Engineer) at EPAM Systems.
Before that, Karen worked at Teamable Software from June 2018 to August 2019 as a Team Lead, from January 2017 to June 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer, and from March 2015 to January 2017 as a Software Developer. In their role as a Software Developer, they were responsible for rest API design and development, business logic implementation, and working with third-party services such as GitHub API and Facebook API. Karen also led the design and development of the Slack application project, which was featured in the Slack App Directory for two weeks. Additionally, they evangelized and adopted web development best practices in the company and mentored junior developers.
To start their career, Karen worked as a Software Developer at Plexonic from December 2013 to February 2015.
Karen Javadyan received a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Yerevan State University, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the same institution, studying from 2010 to 2016. In addition, Karen has obtained several certifications, including "Psy v IT для управленцев" from Anastasia Kalashnikova in May 2020, "Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1&2" in October 2015, and "Algorithms: theory and practice. Methods (Ru)" in December 2015.
