Alex Hayton

Alex Hayton is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in managing teams and delivering software solutions across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at StreamYard, Alex has played a pivotal role in expanding the engineering team and enhancing product development since the company's acquisition by Hopin. Prior to this, Alex held engineering management roles at Checkatrade.com and Hostmaker, where responsibilities included guiding cross-functional teams and contributing to startup initiatives. Alex's career also includes positions such as Lead Backend Engineer at Concrete Media and senior roles at Velocity Mobile Limited and Brunswick Group, complemented by a foundational experience in founding a video game studio. Alex holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Southampton.
