Mindy Thorson

Mindy Thorson has extensive work experience in human resources and safety. Mindy is currently the Director of Human Resources & Safety at Street Smart Rental and has been in this role since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Levy Restaurants for eight years, starting as an HR Assistant in January 2012 and eventually becoming the Director of Human Resources in January 2015. Mindy also has experience as a Senior Human Resources Manager at Levy Restaurants. Before their time at Levy Restaurants, Mindy held positions as an HR Assistant at both the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx. Mindy also worked as a Worksite Screening Staffing Coordinator at Health Fitness Corporation from July 2010 to March 2011. Mindy's earlier work experience includes roles as a Human Resources Training Coordinator at ITR Concession Company LLC and Skyway Concession Company LLC. Mindy began their career as a Department Supervisor at The Home Depot, where they worked from August 2005 to November 2008.

Mindy Thorson attended Western Michigan University from 2003 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. Mindy'sfield of study included Organizational Communication, Human Resource Management, and Women's Studies. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in May 2023. Mindy also holds certifications in Building Resilience and Productivity Tips: Finding Your Productive Mindset from LinkedIn, obtained in April 2020.
