Paul Gray

Paul Gray is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the marine manufacturing industry. As the Founder and CEO of Optimus Marine since April 2021, Paul has been instrumental in the development of notable vessels, including the Fairline Squadron 52 and the largest composite production yacht, the 780 GT Composite Majesty 175. Previously, Paul held significant roles such as Interim Chief Operating Officer at Crown Electric Ships and Boats, CEO and Executive Director at Adriatic42, and Chief Operations Officer at Gulf Craft Inc., where leadership extended over 1,500 employees across diverse departments. Paul has also contributed as General Manager at Fairline Yachts and as a Director at Performance Planning Yacht Consultancy. Additionally, Paul's tenure at Princess Yachts as M Class Operations Director involved oversight of multi-million pound superyacht projects and return to profitability initiatives. Educational foundations include an Engineer’s Degree in Radar and Radio Electronic Aeronautical Engineering from the No.2 School of Technical Training RAF Cosford and various technical qualifications from British Aerospace.
