Carlos Lopez

Carlos Lopez, P.E. is a Senior Associate at Stress Engineering Services, Inc. since August 2015, specializing in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis and thermal safety and performance testing of complex systems, including lithium-ion batteries and subsea equipment. Prior experience includes a Graduate Research Fellow role at NASA, focusing on lithium battery thermal runaway mitigation, and positions at Texas A&M University as a Graduate Research Assistant and Undergraduate Researcher, where significant research was conducted on energy storage materials and active battery thermal management systems.
