Damien Lim

Damien Lim has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Damien is currently working at StrikeReady as the Sr. Director of Marketing since October 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Product Marketing at StrikeReady from October 2021 to October 2022.

Before joining StrikeReady, Damien worked at Fortinet from 2016 to 2021. Damien held the position of Senior Manager - Product and Solution Marketing, where they managed the Breach Protection Solution and led the Fortinet sandbox business. Damien also achieved significant growth in Fortinet's endpoint security business and was responsible for marketing various products and services.

Prior to Fortinet, Damien worked at Palo Alto Networks in Product Marketing from July 2015 to April 2016. Damien also gained experience at FireEye, Inc. as an Endpoint Strategist/Product Marketing from April 2014 to June 2015.

In addition to their cybersecurity experience, Damien also has a background in technical marketing and sales. Damien worked at Cisco Systems from 2010 to 2014 as a Technical Marketing Evangelist and played a key role in driving sales and relationship-building initiatives. Before that, they worked as a Sales Consultant at PacNet from 2008 to 2010, where they collaborated to win key accounts and implemented process improvements.

Damien's earlier career includes roles at Access Systems Americas as a Sales Engineer/Account Manager from 2007 to 2008, and at IP Infusion as a Systems Engineer and Manager in various capacities from 2002 to 2007.

Before transitioning into the tech industry, Damien served in the Republic Singapore Air Force as an F-18 Engine Specialist from 1995 to 1997.

Damien Lim completed their education in Computer Engineering at San Jose State University. Damien obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Engineering from the university for the academic years 1998-2002. Later, they pursued further studies in the same field and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University for the years 2003-2006.
