Simon Schatzmann

Simon Schatzmann has extensive experience in sales and business development. Simon began their career in 1998 as an Executive Vice President and Publisher at Viacom, where they were responsible for leading the Publishing, Digital, and Custom Media Division at MTVN and Nickelodeon. Simon then moved on to The Pokèmon Company International in 2005 as the Group Head of Sales & Licensing, where they were responsible for P/L management of media sales, brand sales, direct sales, event marketing, sponsorship, product development, and operations management. In 2007, they joined Condé Nast as Vice President of Sales and Business Development, where they were responsible for channel head P&L management, advertising sales, direct digital sales, advertising agency sales, partnerships, integrated media, mobile, video, content marketing, licensing, brand partnerships, marketing, and new media development. From 2010 to 2016, they worked at Zeus Media l BDS as Chief Revenue Officer, where they developed revenue generating media sales programs and digital media advertising, OOH, cross platform sales integration, enterprise software sales, technology road-mapping, platform sales, print, social, mobile, video, and traditional media. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Imagine AR inc. as Executive Vice President of Global Sales, where they helped Fortune 500 companies, brands, publishers, advertising agencies, sports verticles, and retailers leverage AR technology to enhance engagement, activation, and consumer experiences. Most recently, they joined Stringr in 2021 as Vice President of Worldwide Sales (Revenue Officer), where they are responsible for helping major news organizations and brands create live news, breaking news, and custom content.

Simon Schatzmann attended Pace University - Lubin School of Business, where they earned a Masters in New Media. Simon also attended SUNY New Paltz, where they earned a BS in Marketing.
