Kalpesh Shah

Kalpesh Shah, FRM has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Kalpesh currently holds the position of Global Head Regulatory Reporting at Stripe, a role they started in 2023. Prior to that, Kalpesh worked at State Street from 2016 to 2023, where they held the positions of Vice President, Regulatory Reporting and Vice President, Finance. In these roles, they led various projects and programs related to regulatory reporting automation and implementation of regulations such as FRTB and QFC. Before joining State Street, Kalpesh worked at Huntington National Bank from 2010 to 2016, where they held roles as Sr. Financial Analyst in both Strategic Planning & Analysis and Corporate Finance. Kalpesh also gained experience as a Shared Services Project Intern at The Office of Budget & Management (State of Ohio) in 2010. Additionally, Kalpesh worked as a Project Manager at Fisher Professional Services from 2008 to 2010, where they received the "FPS Outstanding Consultant" award. Kalpesh started their career as a Project Engineer at Wipro Technologies in 2005, working with Fortune 500 telecommunication clients.

Kalpesh Shah, FRM has a diverse education history. In 2001 to 2005, they attended the University of Mumbai, where they earned a B.E. degree in Computer Engineering. Later, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued an MBA from The Ohio State University - The Max M. Fisher College of Business, specializing in Corporate Finance, Strategy & Supply Chain Management. In 2019, they completed the FinTech Program at Harvard Business School, focusing on Finance and Financial Management Services. Alongside their formal education, Kalpesh has also obtained various certifications, including a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in 2013, and a Business Performance Management (BPM) certification from the Center for Business Performance Management at The Ohio State University in 2010. Kalpesh has also obtained certifications in topics such as Python for Finance, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and Introduction to Large Language Models.
