Sophie Shepherd

Sophie Shepherd is a seasoned product design manager with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently, Sophie serves as the Product Design Manager for Money as a Service (MaaS) and Stripe Connect at Stripe, leading design initiatives that significantly impact the company's payment volume and account distribution. Prior to joining Stripe, Sophie was a Staff Manager in Product Design at GitHub, where leadership contributed to the successful launch of numerous key products, including GitHub's mobile apps and features like Pull Requests and GitHub Enterprise. Earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Product Designer at Ushahidi, specializing in open-source crisis mapping solutions, and as a Senior Designer at Happy Cog. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film from New York University.
