Vishal Melwani

Vishal Melwani is an accomplished compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently, Vishal serves as the Head of Global Product Compliance at Stripe, following a role as the Head of Square Product Compliance at Block. Previous positions include Vice President and Head of US Consumer Credit Card Compliance at American Express, along with roles in Capital Markets and M&A at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. Vishal's career also includes significant experience in regulatory relations at Barclays and compliance roles at Lehman Brothers and within American Express's co-brand card division. Vishal holds a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from NYU Stern School of Business, complemented by a minor in Religious Studies.
