Patient Experience Lead at Strive Health

Emmie Watson's work experience begins with their current role as the Patient Experience Lead at Strive Health, which they started in March 2021. Prior to this, Emmie worked at DaVita Kidney Care, where they held several roles. From an Analyst, they advanced to a Senior Analyst, where they managed a project exploring the impact of nephrologists on patient experience. Emmie also acted as a subject matter expert in cross-departmental initiatives and oversaw survey vendor relationships. As a Manager, Emmie partnered with field leadership to develop plans to improve patient experience and oversaw analytics to inform strategic decisions. Before DaVita, Emmie worked as an Administrative Resident at CHI St. Luke's Health, where they developed a business plan and analyzed hospital data. Their earliest work experience was as a Lab Technician at Sigma-Aldrich, where they manufactured synthetic DNA and led process improvement initiatives.

Emmie Watson received their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University, where they attended from 2009 to 2013. Emmie then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Baylor University, completing their studies from 2014 to 2016. In October 2023, Emmie obtained the certification of Certified Patient Experience Professional from the Patient Experience Institute.
