Timothy Webster has extensive work experience in various roles related to embedded engineering and firmware development.

Timothy most recently worked at STRIVE as a Senior Embedded Engineer, starting in January 2023.

Prior to that, Timothy worked at Meta as a Senior Embedded Engineer, where they specialized in wearable AR/VR device instrumentation and sensor selection and characterization. Timothy also worked on schematic design, layout, and firmware development for multi-sensor characterization apparatus and prototypes. Their role at Meta lasted from December 2021 to November 2022.

Timothy was responsible for designing and implementing ML object classification and barcode scanning technology for package tracking and barcode reading at fulfillment centers. Their work aimed to reduce missorts and improve associate efficiency. This role lasted from July 2017 to September 2019.

Timothy also has experience at Genist Systems, Inc. as a Product Development Architect and Engineer, where they developed wear-tolerant optical position sensors using speckle pattern observation on a piston rod. Timothy implemented an RTOS system control and worked at Genist Systems from 2006 to 2017.

Before that, they worked at KGIS as a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, leading the ARM embedded Linux development for a blackbox vehicle data and event logging system. Timothy also created process control with busybox runit. Their role at KGIS lasted from 2008 to 2009.
