Stefan Jaritz is a Senior Embedded Software Engineer with experience spanning over two decades. Stefan began their career at ORISA Software GmbH in 1998 as a Software Engineer. In 2004, they joined Bosch Rexroth, where they worked as an Electrical Engineer, focusing on software and hardware prototyping for sensor devices.

In 2006, Stefan completed an internship at T&T Engenheiros Associados, where they developed software for PIC platform-based devices and production tools. Stefan then pursued their Ph.D. at EAH Jena - Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena, University of Applied Sciences, during which they conducted research in cross-platform software development tools and created their own tool. Stefan also worked as a Researcher, focusing on embedded software engineering for digital audio devices.

In 2014, Stefan joined LASOS Lasertechnik GmbH as an Embedded Software Engineer, responsible for developing, testing, and shipping firmware for microscope lasers. Stefan then moved to ESA Elektroschaltanlagen Grimma GmbH in 2016, where they worked on the development of firmware for SPS-Controllers, employing embedded Linux and custom pcb solutions.

In 2018, Stefan joined Kokoon Technology as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, leading firmware development for their Kokoon Relax headphones and Kokoon Nightbuds. Stefan was involved in full-stack development, from product requirements definition to mass production.

Most recently, Stefan worked at TIER Mobility as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. Stefan was responsible for creating charging solutions for e-scooters and e-bikes, working on an IoT project with a tandem of MCU and CPU. Stefan utilized a variety of technologies, including zephyr operating system, UART, I2C, SPI, and worked on tooling, firmware development, and testing.

In 2022, Stefan joined Mobilus Labs as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, continuing their work in this field.

Stefan Jaritz's education history begins in 2002 when they enrolled at Fachhochschule Jena. Stefan completed their studies there in 2007 and obtained a degree in Technische Informatik. Following this, they pursued further education at the same institution and from 2007 to 2010, they received a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in electrical system design from Fachhochschule Jena.
