Michelle Swift

Michelle Swift has a diverse work experience in the field of animation and multimedia. Michelle started their career as an Animator at Black Lantern Studios in 2008. Michelle then worked as a Motion Graphics Specialist and 3D Generalist at AMD for a brief period in 2012. Michelle also had a freelance role as a Motion Graphics Animator and Video Editor for Dell in 2012.

In 2013, Michelle worked as an Animator at Rooster Teeth, where they contributed to the animated series "RWBY" by animating characters, facial expressions, and cameras. Michelle also worked with motion capture footage and captured mocap data herself. During the same year, they also worked as an Animator at The Beer Diaries, creating 2D and 3D animations for various elements such as characters, facial expressions, animals, and motion graphics.

In 2013, Michelle also had a freelance role as a Video Editor at Lee Kirgan Photo & Film, where they edited over 80 workout videos by selecting shots, performing color correction, and replacing backgrounds. Michelle additionally worked as a Freelance 2D Animator at Sol Marketing | Vitamin T in 2018, animating various projects for clients, including Dell.

From 2014 to 2016, Michelle held multiple roles at Intertek Alchemy, including Senior Animation Designer, Multimedia Artist & Animator, and 2D/3D Animator. In these roles, they were involved in creating eLearning and training content for companies, donning various hats such as filming, recording talent, motion graphics, video editing, 2D animation, 3D animation, art direction, color correction, and sound design.

Most recently, Michelle joined STRIVR in 2023 as a Senior Animator.

Michelle Swift attended the Academy of Art University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Character Animation.
