Phillipa Haslehurst

Volunteering And Community Officer at Stroke Association

Phillipa Haslehurst started their work experience in 2009 at Normanhurst Independent School as the Head of Junior School. Phillipa worked there until 2011 and was responsible for various tasks, including assisting the Headteacher, contributing to the School Improvement Plan, and overseeing the Teaching and Learning and Curriculum Development of the school.

After that, they worked at St Marys Catholic Primary as a Booster/Intervention Teacher for a brief period in 2015.

In 2014, Phillipa joined Leverton Primary School as an AFL Co-Ordinator and remained in that role until 2018.

From 2016 onwards, they worked at Snaresbrook Primary School as the Inclusion/Intervention Co-Ordinator and Parent Gym Coach.

In 2017, Phillipa started working at Brighter Minds Ltd as the Managing Director, where they specialized in Dyslexia and SEND advising/tutoring.

In 2018, they moved on to the Stroke Association as a Volunteering and Community Officer and continued in that role until 2019.

Most recently, in 2019, Phillipa joined NHS's The Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust Harlow as the Voluntary Services Manager.

Phillipa Haslehurst attended Anglia Ruskin University from 1991 to 1995. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education.
