Karim Fanous

Karim Fanous is the current Vice President of Engineering at strongDM. Karim was previously the Chief Technology Officer at Kheiron Medical, a company that builds AI-based cancer detection products. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Engineering at Dremio, a massively scalable and fast SQL engine for cloud data lakes. Before that, they were the Vice President of Engineering at Qumulo, Inc., where they were responsible for the product development of all of Qumulo's software (cloud and on-prem) and hardware products, customer success and IT/DevOps.

Karim Fanous has a MBA in Strategy & Finance from the University of Michigan, a Computer Science degree in Mathematics from The American University in Cairo, and various Coursera certifications in Deep Learning Specialization, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects.
