Fred Broers

Fred Broers is the current Vice President of Engineering at Structo. Fred has over two decades of experience in the engineering field, and has held various managerial positions during their career.

Fred started their career at Océ in 1991 as a Project Lead for Equipment Engineering. Fred was promoted to Senior Program Manager in 2006 and then Director of Engineering for Océ Technologies Asia in 2012. In 2017, they returned to Europe to take on the role of Team Lead for Research and Development at Océ - A Canon Company.

In February 2019, Fred left Océ to join Ultimaker as Manager of Hardware R&D. Fred stayed with Ultimaker until September 2020, when they were recruited by Structo.

Fred Broers attended high school in Utrecht, where they studied mechanical engineering. Fred then attended college for a degree in chemistry, and later worked as a chemist in a laboratory.

Fred Broers reports to Desmond Lim, CEO. They work with Boyle Suwono - Chief Product Officer, Dhruv Sahgal - Chief Commercial Officer, and Tat Khit Chan - VP, Operations.
