Nabayan Roy has a diverse work experience in the software industry. In 2021, they began their role as Senior Software Product Manager - Head of Software Product Management at Structo, where they are responsible for building and implementing the software product roadmap and strategies for Structo’s cloud and desktop products. In 2019, they began their role as First Vice President - Lead Product Owner (Engagement Platform) at United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB). From 2011 to 2019, they worked at Autodesk Asia Pte. Ltd in various roles, including Product Owner and Principal Learning Experience Designer, Agile Product Owner, and Information Architect and Documentation Lead. From 2008 to 2011, they worked at Sybase Software as an Information Architect and Documentation Lead. From 2005 to 2008, they worked at Siemens UGS PLM Software as an Applications Engineer. From 2003 to 2005, they worked at Syntel India Pvt. Ltd. as a Lead Technical Writer. From 2003 to 2002, they worked at TCG Software Services as a Technical Writer. From 2002 to 2000, they worked at Digital Publishing Solutions/ DX Technology as a Content Writer and at Transworld Infotech Limited (TWIL) as a Technical and Content Writer. In 2000, they began their career as an Asst.Content Manager at Technology Media Group.

Nabayan Roy's education history begins with St. John's High School, where they obtained their Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSC) between 1982 and 1993. Nabayan then attended Hislop College from 1993 to 1995, where they earned their Higher Secondary in Science. Finally, they earned their Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Nagpur University from 1995 to 1999.
