Jaroslav Bezděk

Jaroslav Bezděk has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of data analysis, machine learning, and software engineering. Jaroslav started their career as a Data Detective at Jumpshot Inc in November 2017, where they primarily focused on data analysis of time series data and anomaly detection using Python, PySpark, SQL, and JIRA. Jaroslav then moved on to Gauss Algorithmic in July 2018, working as a Junior Data Scientist. In this role, they were involved in data analysis, machine learning, software engineering, Python module development, and shiny web app development. Jaroslav utilized various tools and technologies such as Python, R, SQL, PySpark, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Docker, and JIRA.

In 2019, Jaroslav joined AURES Holdings as a Data Scientist, where they continued their work in data analysis, machine learning, and software engineering, with a focus on Python module development. Jaroslav also used Python, SQL, and Microsoft Azure Services in this role. Following this, they worked as a Freelance Machine Learning Engineer starting from October 2018, providing their expertise on a project basis.

Currently, Jaroslav is employed at STRV as a Machine Learning Engineer, starting from February 2022. In this role, they are responsible for data analysis, machine learning, software engineering, and DevOps. Jaroslav uses Python, TypeScript, and AWS for their work.

Jaroslav Bezděk has pursued higher education at the Prague University of Economics and Business. Jaroslav completed a Bachelor's degree in Statistics and Econometrics from 2013 to 2016. Following that, they pursued an Engineer's degree in Statistics from 2016 to 2018.

In addition to their academic degrees, Jaroslav Bezděk has obtained certifications to enhance their skillset. In June 2015, they obtained the FCE certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment. Furthermore, in January 2023, they acquired the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
