Carlos Leyva Salas

Carlos Leyva-Salas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship, risk management, and cybersecurity. Currently serving as a Venture Architect at Stryber since May 2023, Carlos specializes in building ventures for corporates and sovereign wealth funds. Prior roles include Checkmate at better.sg, a not-for-profit focused on technology for social good, and contribution to the Cyber Risk Sub-committee at the Singapore FinTech Association. As co-founder and CEO of cysense, Carlos led a venture-backed cybersecurity SaaS for the Singapore and Australian markets. Educational qualifications include an MBA from INSEAD and a Master of Science in Corporate Finance from EDHEC Business School.
