We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will join our Business Analytics Operations team. Your role will be to use data and analytics to identify and solve some of the biggest challenges and opportunities for Stuart at a global level.

You will be based in Warsaw and will report to Raquel Gordo, Data Analytics Manager. The team is composed of 2 other analysts. Together, you will ensure the necessary data availability, reporting and analytical support for the operational teams.

What will I be doing? 🤔

• Make recommendations: Do analyses to find the biggest opportunities for Stuart to tackle to improve the service we offer to our customers. Work with stakeholders to get your ideas implemented.
• Define metrics: Identify the best way to measure the performance of the business.
• Build data models to ensure you have the data you need to do great analytics quickly. At Stuart we follow a data mesh approach, where analysts have the autonomy to build data pipelines while using shared core datasets, common tools and standards to ensure consistency. We use DBT for this which is easy to learn if you know SQL.
• Implement and maintain global dashboards covering the data needs of all the markets.
• Support data request involving operational or couriers compliance data.

What do we need from you? 😎

• 4+ years of experience in a relevant data role. Data analytics, product analytics or similar.
• Fluent in English and Polish.
• Proven track record: You have experience using data driven decisions to deliver business results.
• Great communication skills. Able to communicate analytical results clearly to a non-technical audience. You communicate recommendations and “so whats” from your work effectively. You are able to influence stakeholders to take action based on your recommendations.
• Strong technical skills. Strong technical skills. Expert in SQL and at least one of DBT, Python, Tableau, Superset or Geospatial analytics.
• Proactive: Working with your partners in commercial and ops to identify the areas where analytics can have the most impact.
• Problem framing skills: You are able to build an analytics plan from a general request or idea.
• Happy to work in a scale up environment where processes and approaches are still in flux - giving you the opportunity to influence how we build the company!
