Marc-François Mignot Mahon

Marc-François Mignot Mahon has chaired Galileo Global Education since May 2017. He relies on the board of directors of Galileo Global Education and on its international executive committee to strengthen and pursue the development of the Group. A 15-year-old bachelor, he graduated from the University of Paris 1-Panthéon-Sorbonne in art history and intellectual property law. At the age of 24, he began his career at the head of European cultural property publishing companies (Société d'Audiovisuel et de Médias (Paris), DURECO (Amsterdam), EMME (London)). Driven by his interest in new technologies, he created and managed several companies and professional organizations in this field (Scylla Applications Numériques (Paris), education.com (Oxford) and Sollan (London)). A pioneer, he founded at the end of the 1990s, schools to meet the growing need for skills in the emerging web, digital and audiovisual sector: Cifap, Cifacom and HETIC. He then developed a group of arts and creation schools, which included, among others, the Cours Florent (theatre), Penninghen (graphics), Strate (design) and IESA (art market). In 2015, he was appointed president of Studialis, the first set of schools in digital, arts, culture and management. The following year, Studialis merged with a network of art schools located in France and Italy: Galileo Global Education (Atelier de Sèvres (art and animation), Istituto Marangoni (fashion, art and design)), including Marc- François Mignot Mahon becomes the World President.
