Alexia Cavazos is a Designer I in Studio Gang’s Chicago office. Growing up between East Chicago and Camden, New Jersey—two industrial cities that border bodies of water, just outside larger cities—she’s always been interested in the mix between the urban and natural worlds. Today, through her work on the Studio’s civic projects, she’s excited to be exploring how architecture can help people connect with nature and with each other across boundaries.
