Sam Tall has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Sam started their career as an intern and office manager at Downtown Music Services in 2012. Sam then worked as a music research coordinator at YouTube from 2014 to 2015. In 2016, Sam joined TuneSat as a music research coordinator and later became a strategic project manager until 2019. During this time, they developed a bug tracking system and facilitated communication between legal and product teams. In 2019, Sam joined Studio71, LP as a manager of music operations, and then progressed to become director and senior director of content operations. In this role, they led teams in content management and copyright administration across various entertainment verticals, particularly in music. Sam also worked as a strategy and operations consultant at Lindsey Media from 2020 onwards, advising on organizational management and dealmaking strategy. Overall, Sam has demonstrated their expertise in content operations, music research, and strategic consulting throughout their career.
Sam Tall attended New York University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Music Business. In addition to their formal education, Sam has also obtained several additional certifications. In December 2014, they received certifications in Asset Monetization and Content Ownership from YouTube. Furthermore, in September 2022, Sam obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
