Freelance Tech Strategist

We are seeking a freelance tech-savvy senior marketing strategist (US-based). In this role, you'll craft compelling B2B marketing strategies, help define content strategy, speak the language of tech, and help manage day-to-day execution of global campaigns. This is a “get in the weeds” role with direct hands-on support of client deliverables.  Understanding and applying digital marketing best practices is essential. 

Ideal candidates have led technology solutions marketing teams with experience from endpoint to infrastructure (HW, SW, networking, servers, storage and services). Your understanding of B2B sales organizations and selling to and through a channel organization is a plus.  If you’re a marketing strategist with a killer technology (manufacturer or reseller) background and you thrive in dynamic, creative environments where you support every aspect of a GTM strategy, this is the role for you.

About you:

  • Experience defining marketing strategies that are actionable and result in a measurable lift in key upper, mid- and lower funnel metrics and business growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey market dynamics, strategies, tactics, rationale, and results to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze buyer personas and the adaptation of marketing strategies to various markets.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile culture—someone who embraces and leads through change.
  • Minimum of ten years of tech marketing leadership, including developing digital marketing strategies, and messaging for an IT audience in a B2B sales cycle.
  • Three to five years of experience working in a marketing agency or consulting role is preferred.

Compensation: Project-based, fixed-fee
