Freelance Senior Copywriter 

We are seeking a freelance senior copywriter (US-based). This role calls for someone who can create content for large integrated global campaigns, speak the language of tech and understand and apply digital marketing best practices.  We are looking for a skilled and innovative problem-solver with strong leadership qualities and an insatiable drive to grow and learn. You should be a talented copywriter who thrives on building close, collaborative partnerships with designers and other creatives.  

Ideal candidates have written technology solutions marketing content with experience from endpoint to infrastructure (HW, SW, networking, servers, storage and services). Your understanding of B2B sales organizations and selling to and through a channel organization is a plus.   

About You: 

  • You excel at storytelling, with the ability to conceptualize, produce, and deliver compelling, impactful messages that serve a clear purpose for clients.

  • You bring experience in advertising and copywriting, backed by a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to master tone, voice, and copy across diverse platforms, channels, and both long- and short-form formats.

  • You lead the development of creative concepts and strategies, driving ideas forward through exceptional copywriting.

  • You create engaging experiences and frameworks that align with internal and external goals while achieving client marketing objectives.

  • You deliver polished and confident creative presentations to clients, articulating a clear vision that aligns with strategy and effectively addresses client challenges.

  • You use your creative expertise to develop multi-disciplinary campaigns across various media, with a solid understanding of the B2B technology landscape.

  • You collaborate seamlessly with account, strategy, experience, development, and project management teams

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to articulate strategies, market insights, and results to stakeholders with clarity and impact.

  • Independence to thrive in a fast-paced, agile culture—someone who embraces and leads through change.

  • Minimum of ten years of tech marketing writing, including developing digital marketing messaging for an IT audience in a B2B sales cycle.

  • Three to five years of experience working in a marketing agency or consulting role is preferred.

Duration: multiple short- and long-term projects 

Location: anywhere in the USA 

Compensation: Project-based, fixed-fee
