Carlos J. Cuellar

Carlos J. Cuellar, MD, MPH, is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in international health initiatives. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at University Research Co., LLC and Center for Human Services since May 2020, Carlos has previously held significant leadership roles at Abt Associates, including Principal Associate and Vice-President of the International Health Division, where Carlos J. directed key projects in Jordan and the Dominican Republic. Carlos also contributed to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as Deputy Director of Country Primary Health Care, and held leadership positions at Population Services International and PROSALUD Bolivia. Carlos holds a Master of Public Health in Tropical Medicine from the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp, Belgium, and a medical degree from Universidad Católica de Córdoba.
