Daniel Zhao

Daniel Zhao's work experience begins in 2011 as a Banker at China Merchants Bank. Daniel then moved on to The University of Iowa in 2011, where they worked as an IT Technician, developing scripts and providing technical support to over 500 staff members. In 2013, Daniel became the General Manager at Panda Restaurant Group for a brief period before establishing their own business, America's Mattress Coralville, as the Owner. During their time as the owner, they increased sales by 55% and implemented effective sales training strategies, making the business the top mattress store in the area. In 2014, Daniel became an Investor at Thunderbird Preparatory Academy. The following year, in 2013, they joined SimpleTense Education as an Internet Entrepreneur & Executive Officer, where they replaced the industry leader and was involved in designing, developing, and producing SimpleTense. In 2017, Daniel co-founded StudyGate and served as the CEO, overseeing software development, fundraising, and building breakthrough on-demand live tutoring functions. In 2018, they became a Member of YEC. Daniel's tenure at SimpleTense Education lasted until 2021.

Daniel Zhao attended the University of Iowa from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Daniel also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science during the same period at the University of Iowa. Prior to their university education, Daniel attended Shenzhen Senior High School from 2006 to 2009.
