Chris Wells is an experienced leader in community and social services with a robust background in healthcare management. Currently serving as the Director of Community Services at Sturgeon County since August 2022, Chris focuses on protective services, family and community support services, and open spaces. Previously, Chris held the position of Senior Regional Director at CBI Health Group, where responsibilities included leading a large team and managing a significant budget to deliver homecare services. With extensive experience in the Government of Alberta, Chris contributed as Assistant Deputy Minister overseeing essential community services and successfully implemented major initiatives such as Clare's Law. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Science from Queen's University. Prior military experience as a Clinic Manager for the Canadian Armed Forces provided a solid foundation in healthcare coordination and operations.
