Gabriel Thompson

Gabriel Thompson is an experienced IT professional and educator with a focus on computer science and programming. As the Director of IT at the Stuyvesant High School Writing Center, Gabriel developed a full-stack website for managing editorial activities. Additionally, Gabriel serves as a “Senpai” at Stuy CS Dojo, where explanations of computer science concepts are provided to students. Instructional roles include teaching Python at StuyPy and serving as a Computer Science Department Editor for Math and CS Research. Gabriel has a history of organizing events with StuyHacks and has mentored in various capacities, including participation in the Google Mentorship Program. Other experience includes working as a summer camp counselor at Koko NYC and interning on a political campaign. Gabriel is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School.
