Justin Eckel

Justin Eckel, PE, currently serves as the Civil Engineering Director at STV, a position held since March 2024. Prior to this, Justin held various leadership roles at Volkert, Inc., including Regional Vice President of Tennessee Operations, Vice President/Tennessee Operations Manager, Assistant Vice President/Tennessee Engineering Manager, and Structural Section Manager from June 2014 to March 2024. Justin's earlier experience includes work as a Bridge Engineer at Barge Waggoner Sumner & Cannon, Inc. and as a Structural Engineer/Project Manager at CDM Smith, focusing on the design and inspection of bridges. Justin's career began with the State of Tennessee as a Structural Specialist and included a summer internship with TDOT. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structures) from Tennessee Technological University.
